A leading presence in the Irish transport industry, specialising in temperature controlled logistics, Dixon Transport constantly strives for improvement by employing the best drivers and transport managers, driving the most efficient trucks and forging new partnerships with our customers and freight forwarders.

Our family culture

At the heart of the Dixon Transport today, is a family culture. Michael Dixon Senior started in haulage in 1979, and by 1982 was running trucks to the Continent. In 1988, he died at the tragically young age of 36, and the company ceased trading. However a decade later his eldest son also Michael restarted the business.

Within six years, the company had grown to a fleet of 50 trucks and as the company grew the trading premises moved from the home base in Co. Meath to Swords and in 2016 to St. Margaret’s beside Dublin Airport.

Upholding our family values and principles, whilst reinvesting in people, top quality equipment and technology are primary objectives for Dixon Transport.

At Dixon, ‘experience in motion’ is our motto. Everyday, the company’s men and women deliver more than just products – we work tirelessly to ensure our customers are at the centre of our every move.
